“Ammi believed that skills and talents are stronger weapons than degrees to achieve success,” Zoya shares. Her mother’s sacrifices and her unwavering belief in Zoya’s potential laid the foundation for her dreams. “I wanted to make her proud, to see her eyes light up with pride for me,” she adds.
Breaking Barriers
As the only girl in her family allowed to pursue her dreams, Zoya had to overcome societal norms and family skepticism. “My parents always stood by me, even when relatives doubted that a daughter could bring honor to the family,” Zoya recalls. The path was not easy, requiring countless sacrifices, endless rejections, and numerous challenges.
“In the glamour industry, it’s not just about beauty but also about maintaining fitness, skincare, and staying up-to-date with trends,” Zoya explains. To fund her journey, she took on part-time jobs and gave tuition classes, juggling her aspirations with her responsibilities.
Faith, Patience, and Resilience
In her toughest moments, Zoya turned to faith and self-care for solace. “Namaz and reading the Quran Sharif played a significant role in keeping me grounded and patient,” she says. Meditation and manifestation also became vital tools for maintaining focus and visualizing success.
She drew inspiration from the lives of successful women like Priyanka Chopra and Sushmita Sen, whose journeys demonstrated that perseverance could overcome any obstacle. “I believe in karma and destiny,” Zoya says. “Your deeds decide your fate, and patience gives you the strength to face any challenge.”

Zoya’s big breakthrough came when she participated in the prestigious Forever Miss India 2024, a national beauty pageant. “It was a dream come true,” she says. However, the journey to the grand finale was filled with self-doubt. “I was nervous and uncertain about winning, but I gave 200% effort with my parents and friends as my support system.”
The grand finale in Jaipur’s Zee Studios brought together 70 state winners. “I was a fresher among experienced contestants, but I never gave up hope,” Zoya shares. When her name was announced as the second runner-up, it was an overwhelming and emotional moment. “Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, the CEO and founder, crowned me, and my imagination became reality. Seeing the pride in my parents’ eyes was the greatest reward.”
A New Chapter
Winning the pageant was only the beginning. Zoya was soon cast by director and producer Raja Firoz in the web series The Girlfriend. The story follows a young woman’s emotional and dramatic journey after being deceived by a married man. “It’s a story of resilience and revenge, filled with drama, thriller, and romance,” she explains. “I hope this project becomes a turning point in my career.”
Giving Back
Zoya’s ultimate goal extends beyond personal success. She aims to use her platform to empower young girls who face obstacles in pursuing their dreams. “Many girls give up due to financial or societal barriers. I want to create opportunities for them to enter the glamour industry without discrimination based on color, shape, or size,” she says.
Her journey, she hopes, will inspire others to follow their passions. “If I can achieve this, so can anyone who dares to dream and works tirelessly.”
